REX MARSH DESIGNS

The clients wanted a contemporary makeover with a front addition that wouldn't compromise the original mid-century architectural design. We maintained the original rooflines and exterior materials while upgrading and modernizing the interior spaces with an open-floor-plan concept and vaulted ceilings in the living room and kitchen.

We added larger sliding glass doors and new French doors at the rear of the home to bring in more light and capture views of the canyon below. We added a rooftop deck above the rear bedrooms to take advantage of the temperate climate and ocean views.
