RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
NEW ADDITION & MAJOR REMODEL
The clients of this small bungalow overlooking San Diego Bay wanted a home with larger rooms and more functional open spaces to suit a more contemporary lifestyle. We completely transformed this small bungalow by adding a master suite and master bathroom at the rear of the house, plus a new 2-car garage off the alley at the back of the property.
We added an additional full bathroom and updated all existing bathrooms. We expanded the kitchen and living room toward the front of the house, which now includes a large sitting island, wine bar, and new contemporary fireplace. The ceilings over the kitchen and living room were vaulted for a more expansive, appealing atmosphere, and a new front deck was designed for an indoor-outdoor experience that takes advantage of the mild climate and views of the San Diego Bay below.
